I had come to the Tahai Complex before the sun rose in hopes of taking photographs
as the rising sun warmed the moai with hues of yellow and pink. Unfortunately,
the overcast skies thwarted these plans, but little did I know that other surprises
were in store. I was taking photographs when a rainbow appeared in the sky behind
the moai. What an amazing sight to see the ancient wonder standing before the
rainbow blazing in the darkened sky.
